Leslie Christian, our Board Chair, was interviewed by The Capital Institute, who highlighted her as one of the thought leaders in Finance and Investing today.
The Capital Institute defines itself in the following way:
“The Capital Institute is a non-partisan, 21st century innovation center, founded in 2009 by financiers, business people, and academics from multiple disciplines to effect change. Our mission is to drive systemic change of financial theory and practice necessary to harness the power of capital and markets to evolve a more just, resilient, and sustainable economic system. One of Leslie’s best comments is about the future plans for Upstream 21. “We now have some solid proof that our approach works, that our management ideas are valid and solid. We are recovering from the recession and are now looking at companies we are interested in acquiring and some new projects we would like to launch.” Away we go!
